Humberto Moreno (Mo) Prieto: - Timbales/Shakers/Cowbells/Vocals
Mo started playing at the young age of 15 with a group called "Latin Spice" then went on to the "Mirage Band" for 3 years and finally "los Ramblers" who opened for many top touring bands including "Gran Combo", "Los Chica" and "Luis Enrique". Along the way "Mo" studied with Luis Romero (willie Colon/Fania Allstars), Carlos Frederico and Guerrmo Cespedes of "Conjunto Cespedes". "Mo" Currently is very active in the San Francisco Bay area music scene playing with "Island Wave", "The Classics", "Cantera" and la Ventana". "Mo" brings a great Latin Feel to "la Ventana" and we look forward to more of those sizzling solos.
Ed has produced and recorded with independent Reggae acts, The Yardies, Red Di and Tychia Amet. He recorded and toured with Reggae artists, Peter Tosh, Sly and Robbie, Inner Circle and Don Carlos. Ed has also supported many Reggae artists throughout his career, from Sister Carol to Dance Hall legends, Dillinger, Big Youth, and Charlie Chaplin. Even though his roots are in Latin Trio music, he has worked in various genres of music, including Rock, Blues and Country. He produced two songs for an independent film titled "Foreign Correspondents". Ed will assist the band in writing new material (he's another gifted songwriter) and will offer his production and sound skills. We are excited to have Ed with the band, his dual guitar solo's with Johnny De La Cruz and his great rhythm guitar has been adding great flavor to the "la Ventana" sound...... .... Marni Serafin and Liz Elizalde: Background Vocalists "Marni and Liz" laid down all the background vocals for the "Windows Of Your Mind" EP with Carlos, Blaine and Jose. Their harmonies blended well with the others and we were so happy to have them. Marni and Liz sing with the band from time to time and are always a welcome addition to the band. Liz and Carlos just celebrated their 1 year Wedding Anniversary this year. They have been singing together for quite some time. We are very lucky to have these two top vocalists within the "la Ventana" Family... 
Ed Elizalde: -Guitarist/Songwriter
Marni Serafin has been singing her entire life. Family sing - a - longs (with 4 & 5 part harmony's) were the norm at all the family functions growing up, with a steady emphasis on "Old School Country", 50's & Classic Rock, as well as Folk and R&B. Marnie fronted a few Bay Area original bands in the "Alt Rock" scene and even an acoustic trio. Recently Marnie has turned her attention to the Latin Rock sound, jamming with Bay Area bands such as "Cantera" and currently, "la Ventana". From Standards to Rock and Roll, or Country to Latin Rock, Marnie Serafin Shines with her beautiful voice.
